A Review of Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Dual Monitor

The world of tablet PCs is a crowded one. Not only serving as just a tablet, these productivity tools combine the best of a tablet’s convenience with a laptop’s ability to churn out work and engage in serious tasks.

There are a few big names in this segment but two that stand out for most people include the Apple iPad Pro and the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Dual Monitor.

In this article we’re going to give you Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 review to help you make a decision about whether or not it is right for you.

The first question that has to be addressed is whether or not the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Dual Monitor is capable of replacing a work laptop.

After all, laptops aren’t that expensive and tablets can be a tad pricey.

All in all, given the relative cost of a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 now, it is a great value for what you get.

The main reason the Surface Pro 4 stands up is because it runs a full version of Windows 10.

This means that everything that Windows 10 can do, theoretically, the Surface Pro 4 can handle it.

Bringing the world of laptops and tablets even closer together, this software combination along with the Surface Pro 4’s keyboard and laptop-like accessories makes it a solid choice.

Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 Review

So what consumer is the Surface Pro 4 geared towards? At this point the Surface Pro 4 is perfect for the value oriented consumer that needs an ultra-portable laptop-like tablet that won’t break the bank. It isn’t the latest, most cutting-edge Surface tablet out there, but, for the money, it does about everything you would want it to do.

In terms of a CPU, the Surface Pro 4 has a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5-6300U (dual-core, 3MB cache, up to 3GHz with Turbo Boost) complimented by a Intel HD Graphics 520 with 8GB RAM. Screen size is big enough without being gigantic. It comes in at 12.3-inch with a 2,736 x 1,824 PixelSense display. It is thicker than an iPad Pro but also feels more durable in some ways. Touch response is what you would expect. The two best accessories are the Surface Pen and keyboard cover which has awesome backlighting that helps you keep productive even in the lowest light levels. Battery life is comparable to what you would find with other tablets but, again, given that the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is nearly a laptop, this is also quite impressive.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is easily one of the best options for people that want a tablet and a laptop. The design as well as its software and accessories all compliment one another to a huge degree. Not only that, but the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is also well priced and offers a real value over more current models. We recommend the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 for consumers that want a laptop but need something portable and convenient like a tablet.
