Digital Camera Problems; Learn How To Solve Them

A productive photography outing may be the best. If there are digital camera problems such as fumbling and not yielding to focus, it will result in a hazy glow at every picture bottom. This indicates that you should know to fix some problems faced by most DSLRs. Initially, you may believe to have broken something, but they are common problems and easy to solve.

Problems ahead to Know

Smashed glass and lens cap jammed:

At first sight, this is a dramatic problem. You may bump your camera or drop it. It is alright if it has proper protection. Having a lens filter helps a lot.

If you find the lens cap is jammed, take it to a camera store. At the same time, if your camera does not have a protective lens filter or a UV, get one before fixing the issue and evaluate the damage at the camera shop. However, it is best to have a combo of filter and cap offering maximum security.

White Hazy Large area (Exterior Lens Dust):

Small smudges or scratches on the camera lens exterior have nothing to disturb the image quality.  If you are wearing glasses the analogous can happen and this is because small scratches and smudges do not get noticed to your eye unless you seriously concentrate. Yet, it may be tough to spot.

An oily finger may leave on your camera a white haze. If so, use lens cleaner and avoid touching the side of the lens with cleaning cloth that already touched your finger.

Images fine, viewfinder suffers:

The dust is a problematic point. Dust showing on the mirror is annoying as it shows in the viewfinder as well, though your image quality may be clean. However, the mirrorless cameras are not of a problem as nothing gets affected.

First, ascertain the images are clean and you can do this by blowing them on a desktop monitor. It is preferred than inspecting it on an LCD screen.

If it bothers you still apart from the fine quality images, consider thinking twice before using an air blower or a brush. Remember the coating of the mirror gets scratches easily and is fragile. For digital camera problems, at the most start with consulting a camera store nearby and seek help. You can use canned air bottle to clean the camera.
