D6 Digital SLR Camera: The New Flagship Camera from Nikon

Nikon is officially stated that it is developing the new flagship digital camera called Nikon D6 professional digital. Number six behind the letter D showed the generation of the Digital SLR camera itself. The first digital SLR camera being released by Nikon is called as D1 series in 1999. Thus we can state that this year, 2019, is the year when Nikon single-digit D series marks its 20^th anniversary.

In 2019, Nikon is pleased to introduce you with the 6^th generation of the single-digit D series. Since 1990 until now, Nikon has released five single-digit D series generation, but D6 will be the most advanced DSLR from Nikon.

The year 2019 also marks the 60^th anniversary from Nikon F which was the predecessor and inspiration for D series. This company is now developing new AF-S NIKKOR 120 – 300 mm with aperture f/2.8 E FL ED SR VR. The innovation in the new lens will provide greater support for professional photographers in fields who need an impressive camera that can capture image or video accurately and fast in processing.

The long history of camera development from Nikon is more than enough to prove his ability in developing new camera. Nikon is striving to respond to the strict expectations from professional photographers who need a camera with ultimate performance.

When Will This Impressive Camera Will Be Released?

Although D6 Digital SLR camera is still under developing and researching, many rumors stated that this camera will be launched around the Olympic Games. The forthcoming Olympic Games will be held in Tokyo, Japan in 2020 around summer. This is why the AF-S NIKKOR 120 – 300 mm with aperture f/2.8 E FL ED SR VR and the D6 series are intended to provide greater support for professional photographers.

Unfortunately, Nikon has not leaked more detailed information about features and specifications of this most up to date camera. Nikon only issued a photo of black color Digital SLR camera to public and stated that the picture showed a new appearance of the “most advanced DSLR to date”. The ‘title’ gives only a slight information that Nikon will do some improvements in its new DSLR camera.

Many old users of Nikon stated their hopes in this new advanced camera from Nikon. Some predict that Nikon will give a new design to D6 Digital SLR camera by using full-frame mirrorless sports camera equipped with killer autofocus. This is to fulfill the needs of sports photojournalists who must shoot a video in fields for their most up to date publications’ website.

While others hope that Nikon will apply a full frame mirrorless sports camera in D6 generation, many other professionals don’t like the idea of using full frame mirrorless. They stated that at the bottom line, this time not many professionals care to switch their digital SLR camera into full frame mirrorless camera. It is like they have tied with their DSLR.

Professional doesn’t even really care about the latest shiny object. What they really care is trustworthy camera equipment with impressive, proven and reliable performance to shoot every image and video. Let’s hope that Nikon will satisfy users’ expectation by giving what they really need.
