When you want to get a larger screen, you just need to unfold the phone and a bigger display comes in front of you. The rumor of the Samsung Galaxy fold release was first informed a few months ago, but it was not released yet.

Today, it is time to be happy because Samsung Galaxy Fold release date will be officially informed. Within a few days, you can pre-order this smartphone so you become the first buyer.

Samsung Galaxy Release Date

According to the rumor, Samsung is predicted to announce the official Samsung Galaxy release date on the IFA event on September 6, 2019. Thus, you can start to pre-order this device official after the event. Also, Samsung has been preparing about 20 up to 30 units for the first sale of Samsung Galaxy Fold. However, there is still a rumor which says that Samsung will only provide 2500 units.

After the pre-order period, Samsung Galaxy Fold will initially be shipped to South Korea buyers on September 11. Meanwhile, for those who live in the USA, they have to wait for a little longer. According to Evan Blass, so far Samsung Galaxy Fold will be officially available for sale in the USA on September 27.

Everybody has been waiting for this Samsung Galaxy flagship since it was first introduced in the Galaxy Unpacked Event 2019 in February. The official release was suspended due to some issues on a few units, and then Samsung has been trying to fix them before the official release on early September 2019.

First of all, we are going to look at its design. It has two body dimensions, they are unfolded and folded body. When it is folded, it just looks like a regular smartphone with 4.6 inches super AMOLED display. Meanwhile, if you unfold it, the screen will be 7.3 inches.

Performance

Meanwhile, for the platform, this device comes with Android 9.0 (Pie) with Snapdragon 855 chipset. The CPU is equipped with Octa-Core (1×2.84 GHz Kryo 485 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 485 & 4×1.78 GHz Kryo 485 with Adreno 640 GPU. It does not include a card slot because it is equipped with 512 GB storage and 12 GB of RAM.

Camera

Next, we can check the camera quality. It is so amazing because Samsung Galaxy Fold is equipped with Tripe main cameras of 12 MP, 12 MP, and 16 MP respectively. With these cameras, you can record videos 1080p at 60/240fps or 2160p at 60fps. For the selfie cameras, it comes with dual cameras with 10 MP and 8 MP. When you fold the phone, it has a single 10 MP camera with HDR feature.

Samsung Galaxy Fold comes with complete sensors including Fingerprint, gyro, accelerometer, barometer, ANT+, NFC and much more. Meanwhile, for the battery capacity, it comes with 4380 mAh non-removable battery with fast charging and wireless charging feature.
