Android phone companies are trying harder to compete with Apple’s iPad, Microsoft’s Surface Pro’s and, the other tablets devices. Speaking of android phone companies Samsung, the leader of them all so far, is doing a fine job to get an upper hand on its competitors, and they say with trying, again and again, you eventually get success, true for Samsung with the huge release of another android giant Galaxy Tab S4.

With Android 8.0 as its operating system and a powerful Snapdragon 835 chipset, This tablet has a very fine super AMOLED display of 10.5 inches with 16m colors bit like Apple iPad Pro 10.5’. It is so far the best business tablet of the year. Some key features are:

Improved Digital S Pen

S-pen is a beautiful feature of Samsung note devices and these beautiful tablets, the new S Pen is a lot improved, it is very handy and feels like holding a normal pen, this is also called a digital s-pen with no batteries needed. Which feeds well to the business needs these days.

DEX-Mode

A lot of people may not be familiar with this mode, but when a keyboard is connected with this tablet it gets into a DEX-mode giving you an experience of Samsung PC, which enables you to multitask easily and can maximize and minimize apps for better experience, and also allows you to use many desktop apps such as Microsoft Office, or any other specific business software on your smart tablet.

Brightness

This tablet has improved display brightness than the previous devices. It has 465 nits brightness which is way better than Microsoft Surface Pro and a lot of others in the same race, and just about matching Apple iPad Pro which has 478 nits, so you watch HD resolution videos and a lot smoother running experience.

Design

Galaxy Tab S4 was expected to be a lot thinner but it is thicker than expected, a lot of people would have liked a thinner device because that’s the new thing, but the reason for the thickness might be the grip when you hold it to use the S-pen. The thickness allows it to be more handy, of course, when not in Dex Mode.

Cameras and speakers

The rear camera is 13 MP with Led flash and video recording of 2160p@30fps, the secondary camera is 8MP with 1080p recording capabilities, can easily be used as taking important photos during office meetings. Surprisingly it has 4 speakers (AKG branded) which gives a better stereo output and a good sound range, which means it can easily work as a home theater.

Storage

With 4 Gb ram and 64 Gb or 256 Gb internal storage you can run any heavy software with high settings and a lot of multitasking, also this tablet comes with 6GB ram which is only available in Korea.

Box and Accessories

This tablet comes with a beautiful box, as it should be, and accessories include a fast charger and AKG earphones.

Conclusion

With all these extraordinary features this tablet is for sure the best tablet for business but with such a price, Samsung should have included a keyboard which you will have to buy in order to run DEX mode. Also, there is no room for digitals-pen in the tablet but it can be placed in its spot on the keyboard.
