Samsung Wrap Off the Ultra-Premium Display with its Advance QLED 8K TV

As you may or may not have heard already, Samsung has introduced a new aspect of clarity to the world – QLED 8K TV! But you might be wondering, why is Samsung bringing this in now? Increased popularity is what might come to your mind initially, but according to officials from the company itself, it is argued that the boosted PPI paired with super-advanced technology translates to making the content you currently watch much better.

With most content creators barely making their way to 4K resolution, you might think that its an absurd decision on Samsung’s side for unexpectedly releasing a new QLED 8K TV. If there is hardly any true 8K content out there to watch, what might be the rationale behind spending a hefty amount of money for more pixels on a large TV?

This is simply because Samsung tends to plan way ahead of time. You may not know or notice this yet, but native 8K content is coming sooner than you may expect. Examples of news such as Japan launching an 8K channel by the end of 2018 or Netflix filming some new content in 8K has already taken the world by a storm.

But what makes this new Samsung QLED 8K TV exciting today? It doesn’t really need native 8K content to present itself in an incredible manner. Instead, it possesses the unique ability to take any content and transform it into some of the clearest and best images you would ever be able to see on a TV screen.

Features

This new Samsung QLED 8K TV has three features that can easily attract any tech freak. The first is, as expected, its native 8K display. To put it into numbers, that is 7680 x 4320 pixels. In much simpler words, that is equal to almost 33,177,600 pixels. As the name suggests, this is 4 times the resolution of a typical 4K TV.

The second important note about the new Samsung QLED 8K TV is that it is actually huge in size. And by ‘huge’, we mean up to 85 inches huge. This may be an obvious feature because since the screen has to cater to such a large number of pixels, the screen is expected to be just as large itself. However, this does make it a challenge for a normal household as the TV can easily serve the purpose of a home cinema rather than a simple television for a living room. Samsung has currently announced to provide 75 and 65-inch versions to Europe but the US is only scheduled to receive the 85 and 82-inch variants.

The third immense feature of this almost magic TV is the brightness. Samsung claims to provide the illumination of 4000 nits, a figure we haven’t yet seen for any domestic TV. Because with great responsibility comes great power, this glorified level of brightness calls for a flawless lighting system. All of the gazillion pixels in this ultra 8K TV need to be illuminated by an external light source, which may place a huge burden on Samsung to ensure the quality of its components.
