Review of Lenovo Yoga Book

Design

The Yoga Book C930 has a premium finish worth considering as a travel companion with its lightweight feature and portability.

For the Yoga Book C930, it is wholly which gives clearance for a small Lenovo logo at the lower leftward corner when it’s vertical.

As usual, it opens in nifty hinge style found just like the first Yoga Book. In that case, you can easily bend backward or between.

E Ink Reader and Notepad

The E Ink screen provides a great view when reading. Flipping from one page to the other only takes a second as both images and text are super clear. In the Reader Mode is its own menu with an option to flip from one-page to two-page view, jump to a particular page number as well as zoom in or out.

Before working on the Note Mode, you have to choose between the stylus and between blank, single-spaced, double-spaced, line grid templates. In the Note Mode menu is a Pen with different thicknesses as well as a Smart Brush option that turns your drawings into any shape of your choice.

Lenovo Yoga Book Performance

Performance

The Yoga Book C930 operates on an Intel Core i5-7Y54 CPU and built with 4GB of RAM and a 128GB PCIe SSD. I tried putting the Yoga Book C930 through the ringer by opening over 30 chrome browser tabs plus two, streaming videos on Netflix. The whole show ran smoothly, but I noticed an occasionally a two-second delay when trying to switch from one tab to another or scrolling down any of the web pages. You don’t get too much power for the price, and the 4GB of RAM is trifling for a Windows device that’s this expensive.

If all you want is a secondary device for casual streaming and browsing, the Yoga Book is just the best option for you. But you won’t want to launch high-level productivity tasks on this machine.

Lenovo Yoga Book Display

Display

The Yoga Book’s LCD comes with a portable screen of 10.8-inch IPS (in-plane switching) display with a quality high definition QHD of 2560 x 1600) resolution. The screen display’s pretty impressive when in use.

Lenovo Yoga Book Battery

Battery Life

The Yoga Book C390 comes with s 35.8Wh Li-Ion battery. In our battery session, we surfed the web over Wi-Fi, and at the same time streamed YouTube video at 150 nits brightness. It only lasted six and the half hours, which is really disappointing in respect to how frequent you’ll want to have your Yoga book around you.

VERDICT

The Lenovo Yoga Book C930 is a sleek and eye-catching dual-screen convertible with its unique E Ink keyboard, touchpad, reader and notepad. Its versatility is one feature that has made it the preferable travel device.
