Grand Theft Auto has been one of the most famous series of Rockstar Games with a total of 16 parts already released and Grand Theft Auto VI up in line for the coming year. If you have keen interests in discovering in-game secrets, GTA is the series for you. Below mentioned are some of the unknown facts about the latest version of the game series – GTA V.

1. Alien frozen in the ice

In the gateway sequence of the prologue, the mission is set with Michael, Trevor and Brad trying to guide the player over the tracks of the railroad. If you can cut short with the instructions and make a right turn instead, you can go to the area under the bridge. If you are in a car, stop and get out of it. Take a look at the river on the side. Do you see the alien frozen deep in the ice?

2. A book written by John Marston’s son

When you go the Franklin’s house in Vinewood Hills, check out the living room. You can find a bookcase there. If you zoom in to take a look into the books, you can find a title you are familiar with. The book on the extreme right is titled ‘Red Dead’. While this is obvious that it is a reference drawn to Red Dead Redemption, the western open world game by Rockstar in 2010. The author of the book is J. Marston which can probably be John Marston, the lead character in Red Dead. If you have finished the game, you most probably know about Jack, John’s son. He was characterized to be fond of books. He has expressed his interests in composing a book himself.

3. Lamar Davis that you could almost play

There are three possible outcomes programmed for the final showdown. The first two options end with the killing of either Trevor or Michael by Franklin. This makes access to only the remaining two characters to be playable after you complete the game. For the third options, the game can end with all of the three lead characters surviving the final mission. But the exploration through the codes of the game has brought up a fact that the third option was supposed to end with the killing of Franklin. He was to be replaced with Lamar Davis character that you could play with.

4. Canis Bohdi – the origin

Canis Bohdi, the personal vehicle that Trevor owns refers to a couple of great things. The first reference is drawn to Bohdi, the bank robber who was the antagonis in Point Break, a 1991 movie where he had collaborated with a surfer’s group and have been mistaken as his crew. There was a vehicle identical to that of Trevor that the surfers own – Kaiser M715. The second reference is that to the son of Steven Oggs. Steven Oggs is the voice artist who has portrayed the roles of both Trevor and Philips. Bohdi is the name of Ogg’s son.

5. There is a separate sleep schedule for every character

If you are trying to save a game progress by sleeping, the time that passes by varies depending on the character you are playing with then. While time passes by only 6 hours if you sleep while playing with Micahael, Franklin has a sleep schedule of 8 hours. Trevor is the sleepiest head taking up to 12 hours for resting. Nevertheless, no matter which character you are playing while saving the game by sleeping, the progress remains constant.

6. The main characters are designed on the type of real life players

Rockstar Games have taken the liberty to conduct their own research of the players to design the main characters of the game. While Michael is designed on the players who have beaten the game and is sticking around just for fun, he is a retired criminal. Franklin on the other hand portrays the traditional regular players who are ambitious and eager to know the ways of becoming a successful criminal. For Trevor, it is based more on the destructive players who love chaos and enjoy the ultimate freedom of the game.
