Spyro Reignited Trilogy Is One 2018’s Best!

Spyro Reignited Trilogy for PS 4
2018 has been an awesome year for games and one that has to be talked about as one of the best is the Spyro Reignited Trilogy for PS4 and Xbox One. Spyro is an awesome series of games. From the original trilogy on the PlayStation to them trying to make the games more story driven on the PS2, Xbox 360 and Wii and then Spyro became a Skylander and that was that for over half a decade!
Well fans wanted a new Spyro game and thankfully the folks at Activision listened and they decided to do what Crash Bandicoot did last year and that is release a compilation of the original trilogy of games, although in all honesty the Spyro Reignited Trilogy for PS4 and Xbox One is a much better package than the Crash Bandicoot one!
The first thing that is worth noting is that the three games are not just the PlayStation 1 classics, but given a lick of HD paint. The team at Toys for Bod have put in a ton of work actually remaking each game. This means that they do not just look fantastic, they arguably play better than they did on the PlayStation the better part of two decades ago.
The presentation is just first rate all the way. The games look fantastic, they are like an animated movie come to life and there really is not a bad thing to say about the way the games look. One thing that is really cool is the way that Toys For Bob have made each level and hub world feel so alive despite being so small.
Speaking of being alive one of the most awesome new features are the dragons that Spyro has to find and free. Now, these were in the original Spyro The Dragon, but the Spyro Reignited Trilogy for PS4 and Xbox One mas made them so much more appealing. They have a ton of personality and they all look awesome.
The best way to experience this trilogy of games is to play them in order. It is fair to say that Spyro 2 and 3 did not reinvent the wheel, but they are fantastic games and very well made continuations of what the first Spyro The Dragon delivered. You really owe it to yourself to play the games in order and then you get the full benefit of this fantastic package.
The big elephant in the room when it comes to this set, of course, is the fact that not all of the games are on the disc. This is very disappointing as it means that in the future all of these discs will actually be pretty useless. This is just the age we live in, not making excuses for them as it has been said that they could have fit all three games on the disc if they really wanted to, they just for whatever reason chose not to. No real good reason has been given as to why all three games are not on the disc!
Still apart from that Spyro Reignited Trilogy for PS4 and Xbox One is one of the best games of 2018. We all knew this was going to be good, but it turned out even better than we could ever have imagined.
