Riptide GP: Renegade is the sequel to Riptide GP and it actually pits you in a jet sky battle against other players. The thing you will like a lot here is that there are lots of circuits created specifically for the game where you can show your prowess. And that’s very interesting, because you do get a whole lot of unique options and that on its own can be a great thing.
That being said, you also need to focus on stunts. There are plenty of ramps in the game that you can use for extra points via stunts. But you can also play Riptide GP: Renegade as a regular racing game if you want. The idea is to still get to the end of the level and win the game.
Even if that seems hard at times, it’s safe to say that Riptide GP: Renegade does a very good job at making that experience very challenging regardless of the situation. The competitive aspect of the game is great, and that’s because you do have a great AI in the game.
There are also bosses in the game. These are special races, and for a lot of Riptide GP: Renegade players they will be the highlight for sure. Even if it’s not exactly the very best option out there, it’s safe to say that Riptide GP: Renegade is one of those games that you really need to try out just because it’s different.
The racing aspect in this game is pretty intense and it mostly comes from the difficulty of each race. Sure, the AI is very important in such a situation. But the way you address the game and play is just as relevant. It’s all about bringing in a great perspective into the way you play and that on its own is very interesting and unique, to begin with.
You can find shortcuts in every level, but using those shortcuts is actually going to be quite difficult because other racers want to do that too. So it does end up being a battle against time as you try to find the best possible racing experience and explore all the options at your own pace.
Performance is great in Riptide GP: Renegade. The game is created on the developer’s own engine and it runs like a dream on every platform. That being said, you will notice that graphics are not extraordinary, but then again you don’t need that in a racing game.
Riptide GP: Renegade puts a lot of focus on the racing experience itself and the mechanics behind that. It’s a really good game for people that love racing titles, but it’s also interesting for casual players. Even if it does end up requiring a lot of focus and attention, it’s safe to say that it’s always going to be rewarding and fun if you take your time to improve your skill. But it needs commitment, yet as long as you continue racing and work hard to achieve all these goals, you will be more than ok.
