If you talk about arcade racing games, you definitely have to mention the Forza Horizon series. This set of games is actually among some of the best, in fact for a lot of people it gets well past Need for Speed. So you have to wonder, how does Forza Horizon 4 fare among all these expectations?

Believe it or not, the developers managed to surpass their previous creation yet again. Forza Horizon 4 takes place in Britain and while they obviously didn’t recreate the entire country in the game, they did manage to combine various sections of the UK into one cohesive world.

And the reality is that you have everything here. You have large cities, mountain regions, beaches and so on. But the main thing about Forza Horizon 4 is definitely the fact that everything changes according to the 4 seasons. Yes, you have different seasons in the game and they all add up to bring in front a breath of fresh air to the series.

The gameplay is different each season, and you also get challenges that you need to complete. When it comes to races, you have various types such as Dirt races, land races, supercar races and special events such as the Goliath that you need to complete in order to master an event type.

You can level up in the game by completing the stuff you enjoy. There are specific levels for various masteries, and you also have a generalized leveling system based on how you score in races and so on. Every car has its own skill set, and you can invest points in that. Of course you need to be very careful with the way you invest your points, but you can always acquire new points as you progress and complete various tasks.

Every season is unique, for example during the winter you can easily race on lakes, whereas Spring can be rainy and that comes with its fair share of challenges. There are a plethora of races in singleplayer, not to mention a lot of people will like the fact that there’s a massive multiplayer experience to uncover and enjoy here.

They also have a VIP pass which is designed to bring you even more content into the mix. There’s always something new to be excited about, and the best part is that you get to improve every vehicle as you want. You can also acquire various homes in the game, these can be used as starting points and that alone will be a great deal of fun.

The driving experience in Forza Horizon 4 is spot on. Every car feels realistic, the festival comes with some insane game mechanics, and the experience on its own is very good too. If you love arcade racing titles you will like this a lot. It’s not all about precision, instead it’s more about having fun and enjoying everything that comes your way. You will be quite amazed with the unique ideas and gameplay opportunities in Forza Horizon 4!
