There was 3G, that took the world by apprehension back in 2001, when the age of technology had just begun. Taking over in later years, 3G was then overshadowed by it’s successor: 4G and now Verizon’s 5G is stealing it’s predecessors thunder once again.
5G stands for fifth generation. That is, the fifth generation of wireless technology. People know it by the fastest technology they have ever experienced. If you’re someone who still cannot get over how quick the 4G is, the this new technology will for sure blow you away.
The speed obtained by the new technology is not just impressive, it is a step ahead in modern day technology. Making downloads easier, sending files faster, and allowing people to have stronger connections is just what the tech-market needed to give the world right now. Knowing the agony of sending heavy files on internet that now seems slow, is what makes us so excited to use the 5G. The new generation has been recorded to send files about a whopping 30 to 50 times faster than 4G.
5G has taken the world by storm and with good reason. Calling the new technology fast is easy to say and even more hard to believe. Being a leap ahead from 4G, the new technology could potentially be exclusive on it’s own. 5G has the ability to alter and transform all industries across all departments of the economy around the globe. This means redefining work, elevating the standards of living and doing the global community a huge favour.
Not available to the world as of yet, Verizon promises to make it big. With news of the new generation being all that is preparing the globe for what is to come to them in the next few years.
Latency regarding the 5G is significantly lower, on the 4G it was half of that of 3G. In simpler terms, time to perform any command could go as low as to one milli second in the near future, making “lag times” a thing of the past.
When people as what 5G will be used for, I think the question arises: What can’t you use 5G for? Complex information will pave way through at remarkable speeds reaching you before you know it. Ronnan Dune, Verizon’s president claims the technology has a long way to go and that this is just the beginning of a new era of technology, believing that this generation will support trillions of global economic output by the year 2035. I guess it’s only a matter of time till we see the next step Verizon has in plan!
