Pretty much everyone has a tablet these days. A huge part of the reason for this is that they are just so affordable now. Usually, around the holidays, Amazon sells its most basic Kindle Fire for like 30 bucks! Of course, you can always spend a few hundred bucks on a top of the line iPad if that is more your thing.
Today we are not looking to get you a brand-new tablet. No doubt you are happy with the one that you already have. Instead, we are looking at the best tablet accessories. These will make your tablet better, last longer and make sure you can have fun with it for a very long time.
A Bluetooth Speaker
There is no shortage of Bluetooth speakers on the market right now that is for sure. While you can get some that offer near cinema-style sound. That may not be what you are looking for. If you are, more power to you! However, you can get Bluetooth speakers for 20 to 30 bucks that will offer better sound than your tablets internal speakers. Many of the lower end tablets cut corners by having low-quality speakers.
You can even get these really cool tablet docks that will charge your tablet while also giving you some pretty epic booming sound. These are handy if you sit at a desk a lot with your tablet.
A Power Bank
If you go on vacation, work out of town or are just on the road a lot, a power bank can be a real lifesaver. On average you are looking at anywhere from 4 to 10 hours battery life on a tablet.
This, of course, will differ from model to model and also depend on what apps you are using. Having a fully charged power bank with you means that you can pretty much double (or maybe more opening on the power bank) the amount of time you can use your tablet before it needs charging again.
A Screen Protector
No matter how careful you are it is so easy to drop your tablet and it will 99/100 fall screen first! Having some kind of screen protector is going to not just protect your screen in case of an accidental drop. It will also prevent it from getting all scratched up just from the daily use it is getting. You can get a pack of screen protectors on Amazon or eBay for a few bucks.
A Tablet Case
I would say that a tablet case along with a screen protector should be the first accessories you buy for your tablet. You can get tablet cases in all kind of styles. For example, my wife has a very fluffy, almost padded case on hers. Whereas on my iPad I have a Marvel superheroes case to protect it.
You can get cases for a very low price these days and they are great at protecting your tablet in case you drop it. They are also handy if you are going to be going on vacation as your tablet will be much safer in a case than just thrown in the suitcase. You can even get some cases that double up as a tablet stand which is pretty neat.
A Tablet Stand
We have all done that thing where we stand our tablet up against the wall when we are cooking dinner only for it to fall over or slide down at the worst possible time! To avoid this get yourself a tablet stand. These things can be picked up dirt cheap and for the most part, they are universal so what works for one tablet will most likely work for them all.
These are some accessories that I feel are pretty essential if you use your tablet a great deal. Some of these in the case of the speakers and stand for example make using your tablet a more pleasant and fun experience. Others such as the screen protector and case will make sure your tablet stays looking good and working for as long as possible.
