Iphone XS Vs XS Max Vs XR

WHY YOU SHOULD GO FOR THE XS

2018 has been a good year for the mobile industry with increased sales on flagship phones from mobile producers. Apple, in particular, did not disappoint as they started the last quarter of the year with the release of the super-smartphones. The XS and XS max with the XR joining not long later.

iPhone XS

The iPhone XS is almost indistinguishable from the iPhone X in design. Of the trio of phones released by Apple in 2018, the XS is the smallest but it boasts of premium quality, top notch display, and high-end performance. Do not be swayed by its size, the XS is still a masterpiece in all regards. The major difference between the XS and X is in the color. Apple added a gold tint to the mix and though the back has a paler hue, the vibrancy of the phone gives it a fresh appeal and increases its elegance. Another notable difference is the reduction in number of holes at the bottom left, from six to three which now accommodates an antenna band to allow stronger and faster internet connectivity. It also features a dual camera on the rear but is a little higher up than on the iPhone X.

The front of the phone similarly does away with the iconic home button. It may take a little time getting used to gesture control but Apple did it better than Google’s Android 9 pie.

This also shows that the face id gets stronger as against using touch ID.

The screen maintains the loveable 5.8-inch display and gives a vibrant OLED performance. It performs well in outdoor (though the brightness had to be cranked up to the move).

The A12 bionic processor also delivers superb power and performance. Add that to the Dual 12mp rear camera, 7mp True depth front camera and an improved stereo speaker and the iPhone XS is one powerhouse of a phone for the year 2018.

iPhone XS max

The XS max is a lot like the XS but one major difference is the real estate available in the 6.5-inch display which is till date the largest of all Apple iPhone releases. The underside of this choice is that it makes the phone difficult to operate with one hand. Another difference is the battery size. While the iPhone XS boasts of a 2,658mAh battery, the iPhone XS max has a more robust 3,174mAh battery. Asides these differences, weight is another factor to consider. The XS max, of course, weighs more than the XS

iPhone XR

The iPhone XR enters the market as the budget phone of all three. It is similar in design to the other two but features a single lens 12mp back camera. It also cuts down on the luxurious gold, silver and gray designs of the XS and XS max. it is instead available in white, black and red options. It slightly pales in comparison with the XS series which competes directly with iPhone X. it can be compared like the iPhone 8 in comparison with the 8 plus. A major drawback is the absence of 3D touch feature and the replacement of OLED screen with LCD display.

The iPhone XR is an excellent budget phone

iPhone XR

The iPhone XR starts at $750, XS at $1000 and XS max at $1100. If you are running on a low budget, the iPhone XR is an excellent option. However, overall the XS is obvious winner as it promises aggressive performance decent battery performance and has all the elites’ qualities of our ever-favorite stellar iPhones.
